Our Approach

Hi, We’re The White Fern Digital Agency.
A proud Seattle company.

Our Approach

We invest with long horizons, deep respect for people, and a commitment to building enduring businesses

Taking the Long View

Evermore exists to support mission-critical companies through stable, values-aligned ownership — not quick exits.

Our capital is permanent, our partnerships are personal, and our involvement is tailored to each business’s unique needs.

Whether through strategic guidance, operational support, or simply staying out of the way, we’re here to be the most helpful partner for the long term.

Our Principles and Core Beliefs

We’re Here to Help

Following an investment from Evermore Industries, we’ll be personally involved in supporting you and your business, helping to develop a long-term plan with the operational or financial assistance you find most beneficial.

We’re Truly Permanent Capital

We have no intention of selling and there is no reason that we would ever be forced to sell. Without a fund life, our capital is truly permanent. Returns are measured in decades, not fundraising cycles.

Great Businesses are Built with Great Teams

As a collection of entrepreneurs, CEOs and investors, Evermore has built a team that will help create value across industries, geographies and economic cycles.

Who Matters More than What

Not all capital is created equal, because all capital comes attached to people. We think life is too short to work with people who do not share our values.

Transparency

We are committed to being the most transparent partner possible. You can expect us to respond to every message within 24 hours, to write in common language and get straight to the point.

Community

Businesses do not operate in isolation and neither do we. Evermore wants to be a helpful citizen to all members of the communities in which we operate.

FAQs

Explore answers to the most common queries we receive.

Why did you start Evermore Industries?

We started Evermore Industries because we know the difficulties faced by a small business in the decades after a change in leadership.

Then, when we could not find anyone else dedicated to solving this problem, we decided to do it ourselves.

More simply though, Evermore Industries is an opportunity for us to build a business with the values and cultures that we want to see more of in the world.

We want to see more relationships, long-term thinking, and transparency in the business world, so we specifically designed Evermore Industries to promote this culture.

Is Evermore Industries a private equity fund?

No. There are several key differences:

  1. Private equity funds are forced to sell their investments as the fund life ends. Evermore Industries does not have a fund, its capital is committed forever, so we will never be forced to sell an investment.
  2. Private equity funds need to make fast changes as their performance is based on the time based metric, internal rate of return (“IRR”). Evermore Industries does not define success by IRR, allowing us to be incredibly patient.
  3. Private equity funds focus on companies and industries that are in vogue. Evermore prefers boring businesses that can stand the test of time.

Where does Evermore get money for its investments?

Evermore Industries has permanent, committed capital from a group of investors that include successful entrepreneurs, investors, and CEOs.

We would be happy to provide a list of our investors if you are interested.

What will happen to my company after Evermore invests?

Your company will continue to operate in much the same way as it did before Evermore’s investment.

Evermore only seeks to work with amazing companies, so we see no reason to make any big changes.

Evermore also has the ability to add a member of its team as the CEO to help the company through the transition, but this will only happen if the current CEO has the desire to depart.

How long does it take for Evermore to make an investment?

Evermore moves at whatever pace is most comfortable with you.

We can go from introduction to closing in as little as 60 days, but we are also happy to wait years if now is not the right time for a transaction.

We are very patient.

I have more questions. Where can I learn even more?
